Integrating Technology Inside The Classroom
Today we had a special visit, a teacher from Mobile, Al his name was Joe Gaston. He showed us how to use technology during classes and with different subjects like Math, Science and Social Studies. He gave us several examples he uses with his students, he told what to use with our students first of all the four ways were: to show procedures, demonstrate understanding, record memory tricks and flip the classroom.
The advantage of using videos to show students different procedures or explanations is really interesting, and besides students can make their own videos showing what they've learned in class. Its really interesting how he integrates technology in every class he teaches and how he encourage his students to learn using technology. This was a really good experience, I learned a lot and would have done anything to have all this technologies and opportunities back when I was in school.
